Are you going on vacation and can't take your pets? We are now providing boarding services for dogs, so if you need to make sure your pooch is well taken care of while you are away, give us a call at (301) 645-8181 after 11am. You can also email us at boarding@humanesocietycc.org.
Reservations are required and your dog must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Bordatella (bring your vaccination receipt or travel health certificate). Holiday and peak-season spots fill quickly. Advance deposit of one day's boarding fees required for Holiday and peak-season reservation. Drop off and pickup are normally 10am to 6pm, except Sunday or holidays 4pm to 6pm.
Boarding rates are:
1 to 30 lbs: $20 per calendar day
31 to 60 lbs: $21 per calendar day
61 to 100 lbs: $22 per calendar day
Over 100 lbs: $24 per calendar day
Please note the above prices are estimates as there may be additional charges for dogs with special needs. Deposits are non-refundable. Just make an appointment, drop them off, and pay by cash, check or credit card when you pick them up. If you have more than one dog, you'll get $2 off on the second dog's boarding rate! Ask us about our long term stay discount! And if your pet stays with us, feel free to call or email us any time. We want you to feel comfortable that you pet is receiving the best of care while you are away.
