Our goal is to educate all citizens in the importance of respecting all living creatures and the environment we share with them.
We serve the entire Charles County area. For requests outside of the county, please contact us.
The programs we offer range from Pet Care Basics, Wild About Worms, Jeepers Creepers, and many more!
We offer Shelter Tours to all groups and organizations.
We also offer many activities for all ages 3-14, including Clubs, Summer Programs and seasonal special events.
Summer is right around the corner! We have several fun filled weeks of activities where kids can learn and have fun with animals! Click here to see our list of activities. Anyone interested in signing up must fill out the sign up sheet, medical information form, and a release. Sign ups start on March 1st and they are first come first serve. Don't miss out!
Youth Day is coming up! Join us May 26th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Cost for the event is $13. This includes lunch, patch, and all activities. This is a great event for groups, scouts, and other youth clubs!
