The KIND CLUB for kids began September 22, 2001 and will run through June (2002)!
The club is free for children from 4-8 who would like to understand and appreciate our many animal friends. You may register at any time. We have classes on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The club encourages children to care more for their environment and the creatures they share it with. We help to foster this attitude through fun activities, games, crafts, and visits from animals. All arts and crafts and humane education materials are provided by the Humane Society of Charles County. Meetings take place at the Humane Society, 71 Industrial Park Drive, St. Charles, Waldorf. All participants must register, but the club is free!. Pick up registration forms at the Humane Society of Charles County! Call (301) 645-8181 after 11 am (1 pm on Thursday) for more info!

Animal Friendly License Plates are now available from the Humane Society of Charles County. They are not available from the MVA. The total cost is $50, with $25 dollars of that amount to be used exclusively for spay/neuter programs in Charles County and across the state. Plates can be purchased at any time. You do not need to wait for your current plates to expire. Your registration renewal data is not affected. Show you care...put a Pet License Plate on your vehicle.
