Anyone can participate in our spay/neuter program by having the surgery done at the Humane Society
Spay/Neuter Clinic. To download a copy of our fee schedule, please click here (Word 2003 format).
Our spay/neuter program is designed to reduce some of the costs involved in spaying or neutering pets
greater than 4 months of age. This Humane Society service is provided by appointment on the shelter
premises at 71 Industrial Park Drive in Waldorf, MD. Assistance for those with incomes below $45,000
is available upon proof of income. There is a 90 lb. limit for female dogs. Pets older than 6 years may be required to have pre-surgical bloodwork.
The cost is of a blood chemistry panel is $95.00. Below please find

- For all pets, proof of rabies required at time of surgery. If you cannot provide proof, you
will need to get a rabies vaccination for your pet on the day of surgery. Rabies vaccine fee is $12.00
